Question RE: Medicare

If a DC treats a Medicare patient but does not have a Medicare provider ID number, how does this work? Are we required to charge only what Medicare will pay? Etc,.

I've avoided this issue for quite a while, but with several of my patients reaching "that age", it's time to bite the bullet.

Any clarification will be helpful.

Blessings,

A.
