Guest guest
Dear Dick, thanks so much for recording the Friday meetings! I would love to have the following topics addressed: * longterm cases with focus on identifying the miasm and how the remedies might have been chosen to address the miasm * rational for using the individual gammadynes and cell salts, especially as related to miasm and cancer treatment * longterm cancer cases with focus on giving rational as to why the recommended remedies might have been chosen, including cases that address end-stage support with complications, patients in remission and no strong symptoms, patients in remission with poor health, and patients going through chemo/radiation with complications due to treatment. * cancer specific/general homeopathic remedies approach thanks for all your inspiration and knowledge and willingness to pass it on, Dick; happy thanksgiving to you, le suggestions for UNDA drainage group meetings Group, especially all those in the Portland area, I am planning the Friday night meetings for 2006 and would appreciate any feedback for ideas that you would like to talk about. It was suggested I talk about miasms again and have decided to teach the Chronic disease seminar next June 3-4 in Portland. That seminar will include an indepth discussion of miasms, temperament, constitution and the brain protocol with cases for each. Those not in the Portland area can also recommend topics since the workshops will be recorded and will become available on CDs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Thanks , Another popular topic to say the least. Dick Thom Beaverton, OR While I understand you intend to do the Chronic Disease seminar in June with an in-depth study of miasms, it would still be useful to review miasms in the Friday meetings as well. The weekend seminars are so full on information that breaking it down into smaller sessions is often effective. In addition, hearing something multiple times is most helpful. Guest guest
I would be interested in 1. diagnosing with different modalities heavy metal toxicity and treatment wit drainage and supportive therapies. 2. Treating of Miasms with single dose remedies, as well as some oligo etc 3. Management of cases for long term treatments, when you get past the initial complaints and know the illnes is on a deeper level (like most patients, a 3-5 year process), how to successfully manage cases long term while treating the still present situation and keeping the patient engaged. Thanks Drdwthom@... wrote: Group, especially all those in the Portland area, I am planning the Friday night meetings for 2006 and would appreciate any feedback for ideas that you would like to talk about. Guest guest
The topics I would like to see are: 1. Business ideas - (I know you are doing the whole talk on it but maybe just some gems from your series). For example, how to help patient's understand what we do and to be patient, ideas for keeping a practice growing, how to get patient's to return, financial details (medicinary etc.) 2. Unda Numbers - let's spend come time taking the numbers a level deeper... talk some more about the differences between the degenerative numbers (13, 48, 49, 18 etc.). Also, different uses of numbers (and we all can share our experiences too)...for ex. #49 can be used for grief and #23 to treat the sycotic miasm. That would be very interesting. 3. Cases are always great too. Different topics. 4. Diabetes - I know we have touched on it in the Endocrine talks but more case studies and details. I think that's all for now. Guest guest
Dr. Thom: In the past two or three years, we have learned many theories and methods of treatment. All of those will serve us very well if we know how and when to use them in the practice. For the future meeting, I would like to learn more advanced clinic skill in the next level: how to put all those theories and concepts together in the real world of practice, the clinic pearls, which group of patients response well with UNDA #s, which groups response well with gemmos or other form of drainage remedies. How to manage the cases so that we can move the progress forward (how we see the direction ahead of present stage of conditions) In my Chinese medicine practice, the key for success treatment result is not just know what points or what herbs to treat which disease, but to reach the right diagnosis ( the patterns differential ). If we can diagnose the condition right, treatment plan would be easier to decide. I wonder how experienced drainage practitioners reach their combination (the thought process) Jieyi Zhang, ND, LAc Aloha, OR
