I'm sorry you had to find us being ill; however I know many will try to assist you on this group. I don't know of a qualified physician in Chicago; however I do have a few questions for you which may help us to give you better answers. What kind of physician gave you the diagnosis of MCS and what kind of diagnostic tests were done to come to this conclusion? Did this doctor consider toxic mold as a causative factor in your symptoms? Is your current physician suggesting chelation? If so, what is the purpose of the chelation? To remove heavy metals? And would this be I.V. or oral chelation? Have you had a hair analysis preformed by a good laboratory along with perhaps a urine provocation test? Before you try any chelation; even oral or something simple as some cyber recommended " natural " treatments, please make sure you understand totally their actions. For example, cilantro has been show to mobilize mercury and possibly other heavy metals from the tissues; however it has not been shown to bind the now released heavy metals in the GI tract preventing reabsorption. If the now released mercury and other heavy metals are not bound and excreted in the GI tract, this would present a problem as you can imagine. This is why studies of single herbs in heavy metal detox protocols often yield disappointing results when used alone. Attempting to use " natural " and at home protocols for heavy metal chelation needs supervision of a trained professional. We have a Schaller, M.D. on this group who was very generous to give us a free download link to his e-book called Mold Illness Made Simple. The same sells on Amazon in paperback form. If you are not yet familiar with toxic mold illness and the mycotoxins I would suggest you download the e-book and read. It's easy reading and very informative; makes a wonderful primer. Dr. Schaller is also revising this e-book and has given us a link to download the first 80 pages of the revised edition. Below are both links for your information: http://www.gombach.com/schaller/SimpleMoldSample.pdf This is the first 80 pages in the newer design http://www.gombach.com/schaller/SimpleMoldEBook.pdf Did you have your home tested to determine the type of mold which you had remediated? Do you feel you are reacting in your home and feel better away from the home or was this a complete remediation without any cross-contamination? You have already been given the link to the http://www.mold-help.org/ which has much data for you to read. We all care and feel free to ask as many questions as you need and we'll try our best to answer them. Rosie
