Guest guest
Liz, I am unclear what is happening. Does she want treatment for a rash that is a wound? (Impetigo??) Is the diarrhea back? resolved? Disposition? Sleep? Energy? Mood? Appetite? Dick Thom Beaverton, OE cancer, AI Hello all, I first saw , 1.5 yo female, in August. She had episodes of diarrhea and vomiting lasting 3 weeks and had a slight fever. Two weeks prior, she was exposed to sackie's virus. Other symptoms: 1.) nail on right thumb and big toe were dying 2.) increase ear wax 3.) She was born with Tetra logy of Fallot and was operated on at 5 months old. She still has a heart murmur 4.) Her mother had may miscarriages before she was born. The mother has many fear issues and she almost came in for a treatment, but has $ issues. We did BTG; AI diet; Unda # 3, 24, 50; HMF powder; CLO She did well for a few days, then had another episode with , diarrhea, then she was. The mother called 3 weeks ago, saying that had chicken pox. I educated her, and told her to call, or make an appointment, if she felt needed mote support. She took to a pediatrician, who diagnosed her with strep throat. The rash was cultured and was not strep, but he prescribed an antibacterial ointment as well as antibiotics. She came in one week later. I mostly educated educated the family, told them to stay on the same treatment. She just called me saying the rash came back. She described it as an open wound in the left auxiliary region. She treated with the antibiotic ointment. (It takes so long to educate people.) Anyway, what do you all think. I know I will need to eventually need to treat the heart. Guest guest
Alright, alright. This is what happens when you try to write an email with a 3 year old vying for your attention. The mother wants me to treat everything. Her fear is part of the problem. When (the child) gets sick, it is usually diarrhea and vomiting, so I am treating her gut. Originally the rash appeared with strep throat, but was negative when cultured, so is it impetigo? Most recently, the rash has reappeared on it’s own with no other symptoms. appears healthy, maybe slightly too ethereal. Her appetite is normal, not a huge eater. Sleep is good at night time. She fights taking naps. I think she needs more sleep. Mood is good now. The first treatment, her emotional state was an issue, but I think with more rhythm, she is doing much better. And what 22 month old doesn’t have good energy (except when she is sick, then all parameters go down) Since her 1st treatment, her nails have begun to grow normally again, so I feel her VF is improving. Part of this case is the mother’s fear, which I tap into. This girl was born with a hole in her heart. She underwent major surgery at 5 months old. She gets sick more frequently than other children. Thanks for the reply. Let me know if my late night state is still leaving gaps in the picture. Liz Spagat Portland Family, Chronic Disease On 10/26/04 10:43 PM, " Drdwthom@... Guest guest
Alright, alright.  This is what happens when you try to write an email with a 3 year old vying for your attention. The mother wants me to treat everything. OK, A RASH? DIARRHEA? VOMITING? - IS ANYTHING HAPPENING NOW? WHAT HAVE YOU NOTICED FROM THE TREATMENT YOU HAVE DONE TO DATE? IS THIS ACUTE TREATMENT OR A CHRONIC STATE YOU ARE TRYING TO ADDRESS?  Her fear is part of the problem.  When (the child) gets sick, it is usually diarrhea and vomiting, so I am treating her gut.  HAVE YOU GIVEN THEM BOTH A FLOWER ESSENCE? SEEMS LIKE THEY COULD REALLY BENEFIT FROM IT. Originally the rash appeared with strep throat, but was negative when cultured, so is it impetigo? NO.  Most recently, the rash has reappeared on it’s own with no other symptoms. PART OF YOUR TREATMENT? A CLEANSING? IT DOES NOT ITCH? IS IT NECESSARY TO TREAT OR CAN YOU JUST LEAVE IT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS? appears healthy, maybe slightly too ethereal.  Her appetite is normal, not a huge eater. Sleep is good at night time.  She fights taking naps. I think she needs more sleep. WHY DOES SHE NEED MORE SLEEP? HOW MANY HOURS DOES SHE SLEEP? Mood is good now.  The first treatment, her emotional state was an issue, but I think with more rhythm, she is doing much better.
