Guest guest
INCI: International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients INCI has been adopted by most of the world over, and is actually being enforced for ingredients lists in Canada and the UK; I am sure there are other countries as well. Many countries require that when registering a cosmetic product the formula list must be INCI compatible. Japan, Korea, UK, Canada, and Brazil are examples of these countries. INCI also uses CAS numbers to identify ingredients, although not all INCI ingredients have CAS numbers. CAS numbers are used on formulation sheets for registering products with government agencies like the FDA in the US. How many on this list use INCI names on their ingredients lists? How many have a need to create INCI compatible formulation sheets for registering products either in their own country or other countries for export? Should these fields/features be included in Apothecary Keeper 2.0 so that INCI compatible formulation sheets and ingredient lists can be automatically generated? Thank you for your input so far, and your continued support! Be well, Andy on www.BlueMoonDesign.org
