Applications are invited for 14 PhD or Postdoctoral positions to join a community of scholars in Nursing & Allied Health Professions. PhD appointments will be full time for three years. Postdoctoral appointments will be for up to three years at a salary within Nursing, Midwifery and AHP levels. The research studies will focus on Optimising health through * public participation in health care * policy development, service delivery and evaluation of health care services, * the prevention and management of chronic conditions * the promotion and maintenance of healthy living. Appointments will be made with established research groups within the schools of nursing and AHP across Wales (UK) listed below. Applicants are welcome to apply to more than one institution but should indicate in a covering letter the research area that is of particular interest. Successful applicants will be encouraged to be resident in Wales for the duration of the award. Appropriate professional registration is a requirement of each post.
