Guest guest
I had a lot of ear pain and pressure while I was in my school. Another thing was a high, but dull, prolonged ring. My local Dr. always told me it was a sinus problem but I haven't had any of those symptoms since I left 2 yrs. ago. One adult in the school was told he had swimmers ear but it was the middle of winter and he is not a swimmer in any month of the year!! It is amazing what Drs. diagnose us with!!!! Sue I have ear pain, and have for years in my sick building school. Ear nose throat lady was of little help. I dont feel it much since Ive been out of the space, but on days like yesterday, where I have to surface in society (hopital blood testing yesterday) it surfaces. I have a feeling like its infected, sore etc. From exposures ? Anyone get this?

Guest guest
I had a lot of ear pain from the get go...I was a distance swimmer - until my kids were born. No Way. In time I lost some hearing and it was said that my drum were very scarred from presumed perforation from repeated infections and had become retracted which caused the pain. instead of looking like the underside of a spoon, they looked like the inside, sucked in and backwards which looked like stretchmarks after giving birth... I would be in my classroom with one finger in each ear to stop the pressure... Get thee to a good ENT... ssr3351@... wrote: I had a lot of ear pain and pressure while I was in my school. Guest guest
Hey Guys, My daughter with Cystic Fibrosis and ABPA has something weird going on with her ears right now. Two nights ago, she woke up in extreme pain in her left ear. Took some tylonol - took some more and the pain was gone in the morning. But the ear was still tender. In addition the other ear is also abit tender. She says it doesn't hurt anymore, but they still feel " weird " . She is on some antibiotics. Would probably not think twice about this if it was my other daughter, who is playing college athletics. Just an ear infection. No big deal. But this daughter gets the most bizarre symptoms and in retrospect of many, I know little ones are indicative of something more serious. She is a " differential of 2, outlayer " . aka. She's a zebra, not a horse. So, since she has life long fungal condition and is legally immunocompromised, should I be worried about these symptoms? Yikes! Normally, even for a CFer, she is very active and athletic. 110% on her pfts. Has anyone else experienced this and what do you think this means? Guest guest
You know what helped me a lot with the pressure and breakouts in my ears.. Go right down to your local health food store and get some *CHEWABLE PAPAYA ENZYME TABLETS* Then, every few hours, chew up at least three or four of them into a mushy mass in your mouth, and lie back on a bed, and allow the papaya enzyme tablet goo to sit at the back of your mouth for at least fifteen minutes.. Do that several times a day.. and then let me know how it works..When I FINALLY figured this out, fairly recently, it did WONDERS for me in clearing the mold gunk out of there.. The enzymes actually digest the dead skin and other gunk.. allowing your body's natural processes to clear it away.
Guest guest
I've also used yeast infection ointment on q-tips in my ears and its helped.. (nonprescription, its " Monistat external vulvar cream - miconazole nitrate cream 2% " ) YMMV, but this has helped me a lot. If my ears are breaking out I can't sleep..
