Guest guest
Hi all.. Just wanted to share a pretty cool case with you. I've been seeing a patient, ~45 yo male with diagnosis of AV block, PVC, PAC, Complete Right Bundle Branch Block, episodes of V tach and sever bradycardia (due to AV block). Cardiologist recommended pace maker. The patient wanted to explore other options and try to identify the cause. His prognosis was not good when I first started treating him in December. The day his first round of UNDA's and Cratagus showed up at his house, he had been dealing with a bradycardic episode that was lasting for one hour. He took the Crataegus, and his heart rate returned to normal within 15 minutes. He has only had one episode of bradycardia since starting tx. He occasionally gets a PVC. We just did a repeat EKG and although his BBB is still there (didn't really expect it to go away...) his QRS has shortened and his axis has returned to normal. Needless to say he is so excited and has since bought DT's UNDA book and the Gemmo book.. I think he's contemplating changing careers. He looks forward to the day we can negotiate his numbers. Anyone know if Seroyal makes Bundle Branch Nervinum? Anyway... just thought I'd share. R. Abraham Portland, Or. 97214
