Hi Sharon,

Honestly, I don't worry about individual ingredients like that. I

just use BFL-balanced recipes in the correct calorie range for

everything and if they call for guacamole or avocados, I put in the

amount stated in the recipe.

Guacamole?

Hey all! I'm startin back on Body for Life after several months (bad

me) and I want to know where you all think guacamole would fit? Help!

I think normally it is made with avocados and mayonnaise but am not

certain. If that is the case you could probably make it with fat

free or low fat mayo and in small portions it wouldn't be too bad. I

love the stuff and eat it off a fork at the Mexican restaurants when

I take my free meal. No chips. You could stuff a little celery with

it or dip veggies in it but don't put it on a starch item.

I never add mayonnaise. I do a little lemon juice, some cilantro,

tomatoes and avocados...I think in moderation guacamole is okay,

it's a good fat, but it's still fat, so you have to pay attention to

it!
