Greetings,

I just joined the egroup about a week ago. Lots of interesting information.

Thank you for sharing. I just wonder if there is anyone on this egroup from

Flint. I heard today from a friend that the county courthouse here was

renovated because employees filed a class action suit relating to sick building

syndrome. I work at a college in Flint, MIchigan and suspect we have a

mold/ventilation/general sick building problem in our work area. I was hoping

to get some local support and any advice anyone might want to share on how to

proceed with efforts to get an investigation / testing started. Virtually all

of my co-workers have health issues that manifested after they began working at

the college. I have adrenal fatigue and have developed all kinds of oddball

allergies in recent years. The idea of looking for information on sick

building syndrome finally dropped like a brick on my head after a temp worker

commented that she had felt extremely fatigued and generally ill

ever since she began working in our area. The girl who took her place

attributed it to the stress of a new job but said she has had a headache for

weeks - just since starting her job here. Usually I feel pretty good and

fairly energetic on Sundays but once I get back to work, I'm a walking zombie.

By Friday all I can do is sit and stare.

Anyhow, thanks again for the interesting info you share. If anyone on this

group is from my area and has some insight on local resources, please don't

hesitate to email me.

Be well.

Laurie
