Guest guest
The trick for handling sweet stuff you don't really want but can't help but pick at is to ruin it. Dump salt and pepper all over it so that it will be inedible. I do this all the time at pharmaceutical company sponsored dinners where the dessert comes with. Either that or I give it to hubby who doesn't need it either. They say don't waste food but in these type cases food looks better in the garbage than on your butt. Guest guest
" ...food looks better in the garbage than on your butt. " LOL Stasia! I'll have to tape this to my computer monitor at work so I won't be tempted by the poor orphan doughnuts and chocolates that my co-workers bring in every week. Guest guest
That reminds me of two commercials; the one where when a woman orders a pastry at a bakery counter, and then just STRAPS it to her thighs- that is really motivating! As my grandma used to say: " once through the lips, straight to the hips! " and also the one I love: that big green monster that offers all the woman at the office: " brownies? " " Doughnuts? " and she refuses because she has some " nutri-bar " with her that helps her stave off the craving monster. > " ...food looks better in the garbage than on your butt. " > > LOL Stasia!
