Needless to say there are no vegetables one should 'stay away from' -

only that some that have more water content so you can eat more of

them. No one ever got fat from eating just vegetables. Some

vegetables are considered on the starchy side (potatoes, yams, peas

and corn) but to limit them would be silly for varieties sake. List

your favorite vegetables and then, especially if its a short list,

make it an important part of your program to increase your variety.

Moms old rule of trying something at least once holds true :-) There

are many vegetables I eat today that I thought I would not like.

The fiber found in fruits and vegetables (besides all the goodforyou

antioxidents) is like one of the secret weapons to losing bodyfat.

The more fiber you can get into your diet the better (recommended is

up to 30 grams a day) have a look at these simple charts to note the

fiber content: http://www.drdecuypere.com/vegchart.htm (they have a

fruit chart and a nit/seed chart as well)

Hello all! I am new to this group, just joined an hour or so ago and

there is a lot of interesting information on here. I do have a

question though. On the post about the Lean Out menu's ....I was

curious...where are they? I have been looking for anything listed as

Lean Out, etc. and have not found anything. I will definitely be back

with more questions or concerns I am sure. I have been fighting my

weight since I had my son 16 years ago and have been a yo-yo ever

since. I look forward to be a much slimmer, much more healthier me!

Thanks for the help!
