Guest guest
Hello group, I have a patient who is pregnant second time around. The first pregnancy she had GBS (group beta strep) and was given 3 I.V. antibiotic doses during delivery. Her newborn ended up with thrush and they were both sick for awhile. Does anyone have any experience with GBS in the second pregnancy? She wants to avoid the i.v. antibiotics. She and her daughter have been on HMF since she's been seeing me (2 years) as well as other immune building protocols. She is very healthy and has a healthy lifestyle with good food choices, exercise, etc. I plan to help her build the immune system to prevent any infections but would also appreciate other ppl's take on this. Any experience, insight or info? The pregnancy info on the web is all "bad news". Thanks! Sawhill, ND
