Has anyone tried to have their eyes tested then retested after an

expsoure?

Am I the only one who vision clearly changes after a fragrance expsoure?

When people go for their vision tests, if the office is toxic wouldn't

their rx be off?

There is another test that a good neurologist will order for his/her

patients with a serious neurological disorder. That test (I've had it,

twice) is called a VER test...it stands for Visual Evocted Response testing.

It tests the eyes, basically, BUT: it also checks the optic nerve all the

way back, to check for demyelinating disease.

>>On Behalf Of Angel!!

Has anyone tried to have their eyes tested then retested after an

expsoure?

Am I the only one who vision clearly changes after a fragrance expsoure?

When people go for their vision tests, if the office is toxic wouldn't

their rx be off?>>>>>>>>>>

Yes, you are correct. This has happened to me several times. Totally

frustrated the M.D. who was testing me. Was also told after a bad fragrance

exposure in the office that my eye pressure was very high and wanted to

check me for glaucoma. I explained my reaction and ask if she would test a

few hours later. She agreed and my pressure returned to normal. First time

my M.D. had ever been made aware of this. Gave her quite a few weblinks to

continue her research.

My vision was affected after the toxic mold exposure; quite severely which

scared me honestly. I am now back to normal (require reading glasses of

1.25 strength). However when I have a severe exposure my vision does

change. Vision is very blurry (like a thick, heavy London fog), at times

I'll have pains in my eyes, or my eyelid will swell. I've heard this from

many with MCS as well as toxic mold.

From whqt you posted that would test for a chronic vs an acute symptom.

I am trying to find out if others have visions changing upon exposure then

reverting back once the reactionis over.

Not something that is chronic.

Mine is intermittently blurry..... & I OFTEN have episodes where it feels

like someone is sticking pins in my eyes. It's not truly painful, but

uncomfortable. NOTHING is truly painful to me much anymore, after my onset

of illness. THAT pain was sooooooooo intense, I thought I was going to die.

The others did too.
