Anything canned has sodium in it for preserving it - so try for

fresh whenever you're able to have it. Salmon is very good for you -

but at 12 grams of protein per 1/4 cup you can up that to 1/2 cup as

you most likely should be aiming for 20-25 grams of protein per

minimeal.

How much sodium per serving is too much? I'm on the go a lot and eat

a lot of prepackaged items. So hard to cook from scratch during the

week.

I haven't read all the posts about this subject so forgive me if I

duplicate something. Now you can get the salmon in the pouches just

like the tuna. I didn't notice the sodium though. It sort of tastes

like the tuna a little too. I got a few pouches the other day for 96

cents at Walmart. The canned stuff has the little chewable bones

that are good for you though.
