Hello All - I'm hoping there's some light to be shed on this.... I had a patient present recently on a bunch of products from a company called "Mannatech". It's a multi-level marketing scheme which makes me immediately suspicious, but I recall Dr. Ambrose at NCNM extolling the virtues of "Ambrotose", one of their products that contains a "proprietary blend of arabinogalactose from Larix"....it claims to have an effect on cell to cell communication. What I've found by doing a bit of research seems dubious at best. Does anybody know differently? I'd love to hear any and all comments, pro or con about the products or general trustworthiness of the company. Many thanks! - N.D. I went to NCNM and many of my classmates might have been interested in looking into a residency at your clinic. I believe the students at NCNM have some sort of email forum (like this group) on which you might be able to post your add. I'm sure all the other schools have venues where you could get the word out.Good Luck at finding a great person!Kambra Phoebus On 5/7/06, Yarnell <dryarnell@...> wrote: I hope this is not

completely inappropriate for this forum, but Iwondered if anyone on the list knew of any about-to-graduate orrecently graduated or any ND who would be interested in applying for myresidency in men's health/urology/nephrology? I haven't gotten exactly a tidal wave of applicants (I posted ads with Bastyr and the WANP,working on other schools and AANP) and am concerned that the applicantpool is small enough that I better make sure I've worked every anglepossible to get someone really interested in this area. Any referrals you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Yarnell, ND, RH(AHG)Seattle, WA
