Guest guest
>>-On Behalf Of erikmoldwarrior Rosie, the measures you describe implementing suggest that you are a PIR 4 who is very closer to becoming PIR 5. What is your backup strategy and which evacuation procedures have you planned in the event that an inflammatory event or extraordinary exposure tips you from " Unrealistic to just pack up and leave " into " Impossible to remain any longer " ?- " Hi again : Again thank you for informing us that you received " a slam " again. I'm so sorry that you are reacting and it's affecting your writing. since you are not a physician nor have you tested me to determine my HLA-DR or genotype, I lovingly say you are not qualified to place me into a PIR category. I am functioning very well; out in public daily and I do encounter our " enemy " on a daily basis. Honestly in Houston it's impossible to avoid our enemy. My degree of reaction has improved 90% since I first became ill in 2001. For me it was as I explained previously a lifestyle change involving specific foods, specific supplements and medicinal herbs which changed as my physical wellbeing changed. I still follow my protocol daily and make changes as I deem necessary based upon my current level of expertise. In answer to your question if I have an emergency back-up plan to evacuate my home the answer is yes. I prepared such a plan last year in September when our news media informed all in the Houston/ County area that the worst hurricane in our history will soon visit us. I have emergency shelter waiting for me in several locations even out-of-state if necessary and others within driving distance and full tank of gas. Infrastructure, emergency bags with critical items (clothing, shoes, medicinal herbs and supplements, food, our important papers, addresses and contacts, etc) are safely stored away sealed with double layer of heavy plastic. My concern since I'm functioning so well and have my emergency evacuation plan ready is not with me but with you. I am concerned about your safety and wellbeing since you are affected by " slams " more so than I. I worry you may be in a vehicle driving and have an accident or similar mishap. Would you please consider making an appointment with Dr. Shoemaker so he could evaluate you and put you on a specific protocol to assist you. Let's see. I know that you must be at least a 3, but it sounds like you are a bit beyond that to use filters and tyvek suits, which means that you are reacting to exposures, but compensating for it. A 3 isn't forced to compensate, so that steps you up to PIR 4. A PIR 4 can keep a routine only if they are good at controlling exposures which you seem to be doing by those very measures you describe. PIR 5 is disability, so that's out. Sure looks like you are aa PIR 4 to me. And thanks for not confusing me with a physician. Their qualifications for understanding this illness speaks for itself. - > PIR 3 - It can't wait, you must do something now.
