Guest guest
Hi everyone, Well, I'm finally taking the steps to get back on track. I did a weight workout this morning, and I packed up the tower of food for the first time in months. M1 - soy protein/strawberry/flax oil smoothie M2 - soy breakfast patties, whole wheat bread M3 - soy crumbles, kidney beans, veggies M4 - fake chicken, spelt pasta, tomato sauce, veggies M5 - LF cottage cheese, peach M6 - tofu, corn tortillas, lots o' veggies Checking my email this morning, I found a message declaring " Last Chance to enter Body-For-Life 2004. " I think it is a message from the universe. ;-) Should I do it for " real " this time??? Redondo

It does feel good to be on track tho!!! It is funny when I do get back on track, it feels so GOOD and then the million dollar question is why is it so hard to get back on track when I know it feels so good?????? Guest guest
Hi Diane, Thanks for the words of encouragement! I have been where you are - heck, I'm sure I'll be there again someday. What I am starting to realize, for myself, anyway, is that life is a cycle. Sometimes I am all gung-ho, and it's so *easy* to eat clean and workout and do the right thing. Other times... well, you know. So easy to just blow it all off. I know it's no fun to force yourself to do it, but if you hang in there, you'll reach the happy place again. Redondo > Hey .... Guest guest
Why not? What have you got to lose (besides a few pounds of fat?) Go for it! : ) " Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow - what a Ride!'
