Xiphoid protruberosis

I have a patient who is slightly overweight (stomach out a bit and he sits at a desk all day).

His xiphoid is painful to touch and pressure and angles out.

I told him he could try holding a pad in place with ace bandage or a rib brace and in about 5 years it might reduce.

I also got him a big exercise ball to sit at his desk so he sits up straighter.

Any ideas?
