Sounds like something that would happen around here! Hmm..wonder what muscles

are involved and how many calories burned in patching drywall!

that swiss ball

Ok, have to share this swiss ball story - I was trying it out for the

first time, and had come across this great exercise where you do

bicep curls while sitting on the ball, holding one leg up straight.

It is MUCH harder than it sounds, as I found out.

So I am sitting on it, kept losing my balance and had to keep putting

my foot down. Finally, I got it and I start doing bicep curls. DH

comes in unexpectedly behind me, talks and scares the heck out of

me. Not only do I fly backwards off the ball, but the dumbell I am

holding goes flying in teh air and knocks a hole in the drywall. LAST

time DH ever walked in without making som enoise first!

DH was just glad it didn't clock him in the head!! It whizzed right

by him. Then, once he lifted himself off the floor from laughing so

hard, he realized it made a hole and was doubly glad it didn't hit

him anywhere!

No kidding!! I love skull crushers, they are the only thing that make

me feel I worked those arms hard, but I always have visoins of the

dumbells falling and hitting me in the teeth (always my teeth for

some reason, I never worry about them hitting me in the eye!)

I hear ya on the skull crushers, I take my gloves off so I know I

have a good grip on the dumbell! Nothing would be work then knocking

myself out at the gym! And it was be SO BAD to knock out teeth or

break a nose!

Had to laugh because of the number of times I have found myself on the floor

while trying to work with my " instability " ball!
