Sobyl- There is a homeopathic remedy prepared from the light of the full moon. I'm not sure about the name, and it 's a "newer" remedy so it may be difficult to find in a materia medica, but it may be worth investigating. Perhaps somebody out there knows the name....you may consider contacting Hahnemann labs to see if they are aware of this or even carry it. Just a thought... - Picard ND N. field, RISobyl Bunis <nojunkplz3@...> wrote: Dearest UNDA pals, Sorry I've been out of the loop for so long, but the last two years have been challenging to say the very least and my natural high energy is just now returning,

! I'm working with a friend who has a very hyper-active sympathetic dominant nervous system. Over the years he has gotten addicted to beer which seems to calm him and bring his nervous system down to a functional level. He is incredibly productive but has a terribly interrupted sleep pattern as you might imagine. I had an opportunity to give him some Tilia which was the only thing I had on hand at the time and he immediately felt calmer. Over the next two days he noticed that he felt calm, focused, very productive, and non-reactive is typical situations where he would have felt irritated. Also his mid-afternoon blood sugar craving disappeared which I presume had to do with the normalization of his nervous system leading to a more normal cortisol balance. Also, and most promising, in an evening he would normally consume up to a 12 pack of beer just to handle his anxiety and apprehension and to be able to get to sleep. After one full day on Tilia ( 3 doses of half a tsp) he was down to 4 beers in an evening. Isn't it amazing how powerful one simple remedy can be? He is thrilled with the results and we will get started on a more complete program; now that I have his attention...However, he is one of those people who is deeply affected by the full moon. He hardly sleeps at all on those nights no matter how tired he is or how much beer he has consumed. Does anyone out there have any experience with the full moon sensitivity? Good to be back and to have the time and energy to read all of your fascinating cases. I'll try to get up

to Portland this summer for a class... many thanks, Sobyl Bunis, the chiropractor who runs with naturopaths!
