I live in the humid tropics, so there is always something blooming here, but summer is special. All the jasmines go wild, the canagas, michelas, etc., etc. My pittosporum and four o'clocks are fragrancing the front yard, the simpson stopper the back, all on top of 8 jasmines. I am going to try out my new camera tonight, using all the different settings, see what I can capture. I'll also capture some blossoms in alcohol, and try to remember to blend on time next month! LOL. Hi everyone - I'm still trying to figure out the bottom posting thing so excuse the lack of quotes for Anya's message. Anya - my stoppers are smelling wonderful as well but I think it's the white stoppers. So, inspired by the messages on infusions, I plucked the tiny blossoms very carefully and put some in alcohol and some in jojoba oil. I'm anxiously awaiting tomorrow morning so I get my first whiff of each. The white stoppers (stoppers are small, tropical hammock trees) have a great musky smell when they're not in bloom and I think the flowers have a wonderful depth to the scent. I'll let you know how things turn out. Elise Hollywood, Florida www.tambela.com --------------------------------- Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
