Guest guest Posted October 12, 2004 Report Share Posted October 12, 2004 Hi fellow drainers, i need help on this case. started tx a 48 y/o woman 2 yrs ago for chronic UTI's. they started 2 yrs prior to seeing me and had been on antibiotics for 1 yr. she had them prior to her menses, sx would stop during her menses and then start up again after her flow stopped. she was afraid to be intimate with her husband for a yr cos she would always get UTI's after intercourse. Hx BCP use from 1976-2002. she stopped 3 mths prior to seeing me. after 2 yrs of treating her using the " right " unda numbers,(urinary numbers as well as hormonal) she kept having the frequency around her menses. i started addressing the sycotic miasm and she finailly stopped having the UTI sx with her menses. she has since developed some other weird sx. her shoulder and wrist joints have started to be achey and she has trouble lifting her right arm overhead. they are both constant sore and throbs. her legs feel achey and heavy. i have used the jt numbers for the past 2 mths2, 11, 29 followed by 11, 48 ,258 but no change in her jt pains. she is a ceramics artist and has to work thru the pain. worse at night, better with warm. COP on wrists have not helped. prior to her menses, she will have a couple of days of vaginal itching and then it goes away. i have used hormonal numbers on her and it hasn't helped either. since menarche, before her menses. her right conjunctive becomes swollen, gets sticky mucus and vision becomes blurry. happens like clockwork. it looks like a clear bubble on her conjunctiva. she also gets a small cyst on her left eyelid. happens monthly. both conjunctivas are fine, not injected. she is a very sweet and good natured woman. she doesn't feel stressed. her UTI's first came on after her mom, whom she was very close to, died. about 6 mths ago, her younger sister died suddenly of either a stroke or heart attack, MD's don't know. blood tests from 7/04 showed total chol 265, HDL 84, LDL 165, ratios dr thom talked about are great. CK slt elev 235 (35-232), ANA 320 (high) , chem screen, CBC, ESR, TSH all fine. her diet is great, she is doing COP and sitz baths daily. her menstrual cycles are 3 wks. she gets some PMS sx-bloating and salt cravings. usually her vaginal itching clues her in that her menses is due. thanks Tan, ND, LAc Honolulu, HI (any illness and then some) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It sounds like she has major dysbiosis/candida or other gut bugs and would need probiotics plus other gut healing. Maybe her muscles/joints are bothersome because her major pathways aren't working as they should. Perhaps you could also consider treating her cycles with the Lunar Calendar. Regards.
