Guest guest
OK, I thought someone else would answer this. Mamoreck is a mix of 2 types of tuberculosis, developed by Dr. Marmoreck in France (1920's??). It is designed to be used whenever a patient has had repeated infections (eg OM, sinusitis, prostatitis etc) which suggests that their immune system was inefficient and could not defend itself from whatever. You would use Marmoreck in these type of cases. The idea is to "stimulate" the body to react. For example, if a child has a history of repeated OM, your goal is to make him react. So you would give him 5 drops (or 10 for an adult) BID until they had a "reaction" of some type. It MAY be a fever (or whatever). Once they react, you stop the Maroreck and use appropiate UNDA numbers -such as UNDA 2, 15 if it was a fever. They take the remedies for 2 days past the stopping of the reaction. Then stop everything for 7 days. After 7 days, resume the Marmoreck, wait for a reaction and repeat above. Do this 3 times. If one does not react within 21 days, stop as it is unlikely they will (at least not at this time). I hope that is clear. Dick Thom Beaverton, OR Ok, this is my third time asking, so Dr. Thom I think you might be the only one with the answer. How and when do you use Marmoreck? Does a patient need to have gone through a number of months of drainage first? You told to consider it with an autism case. Is that right away? Or, is it a later prescription. Neither or I have these answers. Help!
Guest guest
, , So what is wrong with that approach? Use it when you need it. That is how we decide ANY treatment. There is NOT a correct time to do Mamoreck. This is simply another modality to chose when you are treating a patient. Because of the expected "reaction", it makes sense to not use it until the patient has a VERY GOOD understanding of this paradigm of healing and what we are attempting to accomplish. As a result of your months/ years of treatment, it may not be necessary because you have already accomplished what needed to get done. Dick Thom Beaverton, OR Dr. Thom- I know the protocol for Marmoreck and its ingredients. What I have not been able to tell is how to know when to use it. More case management. We have several patients with recurrent OM, sinusitis etc (as does everyone). I am not sure yet at what point to introduce this into the treatment plan. I guess that my approach has been to do other things until I run out of ideas. When this time comes with a patient (it hasn't yet) then I will try Marmoreck and see what happens...
