Guest guest
When I fall (and it seems to be ever more frequently) I fall forward (knees) or to the side also. But backwards is not unheard of ;0) M

Guest guest
Debra here, I just recently started using a cane. After a few falls, Olympic 10's, I decided it was best surrender and except that I needed a little help. My balance is still pretty decent, at times, but on long walks or hiking I use a cane or walking stick. Not only does it help but it seems to give me confidence just knowing it's there. It also gave me a new hobby, making walking sticks and canes. It's amazing when NEW things have come into my life because of my acceptance of having CMT. Might I add I love all the messages you all put out. It's so refreshing to hear all your antics surround this disease. Who knew it could put such a smile on my face. Thanks to everyone
Guest guest
Hey Will, Lets hope the squirrels don't talk................. I do use a cane when I'm feeling tired so I don't have the fear of a fall. I believe it helps me...... Debra
