Hello everyone,

At 10:43am on Monday, July 5th, 2004, my son Liam was born weighing

10lb 1oz. I had a natural delivery and no stitches (yay!) :) I'm

still feeling like I did a decathalon and surviving on about 3 hours

sleep a night, but he's wonderful and worth it. His big sister loves

him to bits, but is definitely feeling the changes in the family

(more tantrums and such).

That was definitely the hardest workout I've EVER had in my life.

Talk about hitting a 10! LOL. With my daughter's birth I had an

epidural after 32 hours of getting nowhere, so I've not felt all that

really intense stuff at the end.

I've got a pelvic ligament problem that means I'm not supposed to do

any exercise yet, (not even walking, blah), but that won't be for

long. I'm going to start slow and just improve on my general eating

habits, which had got rather terrible at the end of my pregnancy.

And it shows. I don't know how much flab I've put on because I'm

still all puffy and swollen, I refuse to get on scales when I'm

retaining this much fluid!

Anyway, ummm, I guess you all probably didn't need to know all that,

but I'm just so proud of myself! Hehe. Hopefully all the mum's out

there will know what I mean.

Thanks for listening,

Phoenix

I know you don't know me, but congratulations!

Out of six births... I only had one completely natural... and I agree. It

gives you a wonderful sense of accomplishment that you don't feel when you

have an epidural or c-section. It's like " I did this... all by myself! " LOL

New babies are awesome. Enjoy!

Congratulations! That is one healthy sized baby. I totally know

what you mean. Isn't natural delivery a wonderful experience??

Hmmm, maybe you should resist answering for a few more weeks. LOL I

pushed out a 6 lb-er at the end of April. You're in for lots of joy

and merriment. I know we'll have a lot to share being PP and trying

to take the weight off. It's happening slowly but surely for me; I'm

still BFing, so it's difficult.
