Guest guest
<snip> > Is there such thing as Wisteria Blossom essential oil? > > Melin <---- perpetually confused. Melin, Ezra~ I gew up with a giant Wisteria vine in front of my parent's house - haven't smelled that scent in years - it was quite nice --remembering all the bees that used to flock to it once Spring came and the blossoms opened. Unfortunately, the declicate Wisteria is just not processed for eo, absolute, or concrete. It's kinda like the Violet Flower folks have been talking about recently - just not feasible to bring to market. Any place you find selling 'Wisteria oil' is almost certainly selling a synthetic fragrance oil. Maybe someone in the group has created a Wisteria doppleganger - a natural blend of eo's/absolutes/concretes that approximates the scent and wouldn't mind sharing their ingredients/recipe?? How about a Wisteria accord contest, all? ezzie~

Guest guest
The vines around here are at their peak right now so I'm > going to try to pump up capturing the fragrance > in jojoba oil with no luck; and I've never had > success with enfleurage. > > Wallen You should try putting the flowers in Sweet Almond oil as did they in 1897; Smile, sigh, wait voila!
