Are you drinking enough water? Or have you tried drinking water when

that " extra " hunger comes on?

I'm having the problem today (my first day back on the Plan) that I

have very little appetite, and I really don't think I'm going to be

able to consume what I'm supposed to today. I sure hope I don't poop

out on my cardio tomorrow as a result!

I can't remember if you've posted your meals or not, but if you could

that might help. It's possible that your carbs are on the sugary

side, in which case that would set off an insulin response that you

may simply be very sensitive to. There's also an off chance that

there is virtually no fat in your meals, which could be causing you

to never feel full. (Are you taking Udo's or flax oil or anything?)

I'm sure there are about a million other possibilities, but these

(especially the first one) seem like the most likely explanations.

If you get a chance to post your meals, I'm sure we can all try to

figure it out!

My .02 is that you are supposed to eat *before* you feel hungry. If

you wait until you're hungry you end up overeating/feeling like you

haven't had enough. Try to space your meals about every 2.5 to 3

hours and see if that helps.

My writing wasn't very clear. I plan to eat every 2.5-3 hours but

when stuff happens and it creeps to over 4 hours between meals, only

then am I actually feeling hungry for it. Most of my meals are 2.5

to 3 hours apart as planned. So I'm not feeling hungry when I eat

the meal but then I'm hungry after!

I just bought the Kashi Go Lean cereal and I really regret it. It's too high

in sugar for me. I find that after I eat it, I crave more food. It tastes

good, I just think it's hard fokr me to stick to my eating plan after I eat

it.

I agree, 13 grams is a bit much for a " healthy " cereal. Thats what

in the GoLean Crunch. The regular Go lean only has 6 grams. And 10

grams of fiber.

Kashi also makes a ceral called Heart to Heart.

5 grams of sugar. I have never had it though so I cant tell you what

it tastes like.

There is a cereal called Uncle Sams that I really like. 10 grams of

fiber, less than 1 gram of sugar. And it has flax seeds in it.

I love how heart to heart tastes, but I love sweet things and it

tastes pretty sweet so if that kicks off cravings, I wouldn't

recommend it.

I've been eating mostly Cinnamon Puffins for the past few years with

the Kashi and Optimum cereals mixed in. I think it tastes the best,

it only has 6 grams of sugar, and it has 6 grams of fiber.

What does Uncle Sam taste like?

Uncle Sams tastes ok. Not sweet like other cereals.
