Guest guest
Breathe. It's ok. There is a reason they call it body for *life *. If you're sick, concentrate on resting up and eating cleanly. You can start back at the gym once you're feeling 100% again. And the 3 lbs is probably water bloat. No worries. You can do it. Guest guest
Honey, we're all in the same boat... we all goof. Don't be too upset with yourself. Instead, focus on the GOOD. For example... how many days before you " fell off " were you successfully following the program? Give yourself credit for all of those! Not to mention the workouts. I'm JUST getting back on the Plan myself... but I've noticed that my strength gains were not lost by my slip... so that is something to be pleased with. ((((HUGS)))) ~Lydia Fell off the wagon HARD! OK, so I whine to you guys all week last week about a few cookies I had one day. IT GETS SOOOO MUCH WORSE! That was just the beginning! I totally went off the program last week. I ate whatever I wanted all week and I didn't exercise once. I feel like a looser! I did figure out that it is related to PMS because I noticed I had the same problem around the same week last month. As far as I can tell, I have hindered my progress that bad. I gained 3 lbs. But I hindered my spirit. I'm trying to start over today but I doubt I'll make it to the gym tonight because I woke up horribly sick this morning. UUUUGGGGHHHHH! Guest guest
I just want to thank all of you for your supportive responses to my last post. I am sooooo glad I joined this group. This is truely a life time program and I fully intend to keep it up ........not start over. I have a throat infection and the doc put me on antibiotics. I will resume my workout program next week because needless to say, I feel lousy (fever, achy, etc.). I am still trying to be careful with what I eat which isn't easy because my throat hurts so bad all I can eat are soft, mushy foods and soup and not that often due to eating anything making my throat swell even more. However, I appreciate all of your advice so much and it helps me to know that I am not the only one who falls every once in a while. I just kept thinking that you all make mistakes on a meal or maybe one day max. It's nice to know that we are in the same boat and have bad weeks. Thank you all so very much!!!! Guest guest
Gosh! Hope you get better soon! That sounds terribly painful! Have you been drinking tea? I'm sure any warm liquids will help best. (Although they give ice cream to kids with tonsillectomies, so maybe alternating heat and cold is best?) No. None of us is perfect... remember: " Progress, not perfection! " is our motto.
