Guest guest
FROM: Rick White, Safety, Health and Security Officer RE: Mold Analysis Report Number: 031406-0586 DATE: March 24, 2006 Thank you for providing me with a copy of the Mold Analysis Report results from the desk sample submitted to Pro-Lab/SSPTM, from Rhonda on March 14, 2006. Natural air movement and plants may have contributed to the low number of spores identified in the analysis: Spore Identification Results in Colonies Botrytis 1 Cladosporium 5 Curvularia 1 Penicillium 6 On March 24, 2006, I visually inspected Ms. 's work area. I did not see any sources of moisture associated with mold and mildew growth. The following recommendations should assist you with addressing the above-refenced matter: 1) The first step to further reduce the number of mold spores in Ms. 's work area is to remove all plants. 2) Keep indoor humidity low. If possible, keep humidity below 60% (ideally between 30 and 50 percent) relative humidity. Please place a humidity meter or humidistat in Ms. 's work area to assure that the appropriate humidity levels are maintained and monitored. 3) Ms. is welcomed to contact the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Section of the NC Department of Health and Human Services regarding the Mold Analysis Report. She should ask to speak with Lipton, Industrial Hygiene Consultant. Mr. Lipton can be reached at (919) 707-5900. I hope you find the above recommendations to be useful. Please let me know how your progress is coming along. Thanks. My boss went right over and he was already filling out forms for Osha and had listed visable mold all over places in building. I also replied to that email and let him know I didn't appreciate a silly email when I'm fighting for my LIFE! Work places are so pathetic! Guest guest
I have taken some pics with my camera cellphone and going to take another camera this week and take pictures. Problem is I think a lot of the mold is in the ceilings and on the ceiling tiles and probably in walls too. Still can't believe that so called safety guy was looking for mold on my desk. Shows how educated he is and he probably never heard of spores and mycotoxins. He'll say it's the plants in the office....I dread everyday walking into that place......
