In the 1930's Philip Wylie wrote almost a dozen books, partially exploring the theme of men becoming feminized in those days. He created the term Momism to illuminate his early views. Most of my lifetime's male friends and colleagues have, I think, been casually aware of it, and wondered about it, and likely went into erectile decline earlier than they expected, but never Since about 1990 I sense a huge increase in " submissive male " and " female superiority (and supremacy) " and " femdom " subject matter in the media. And also in , overwhelmingly. Stranger still is that in 60 years gay men have gone the other way, from being generally limp-wristed sissies to now being mainly athletic, tough, muscular masterful bears. Go figure, Bill.
