Guest guest
I REFUSE to EVER recommend EO's for anyone hwo is chemically injured. It's a temproary fix that *IN MY OPINON* causes more trouble down the line. As you are aware the brain is lipophilic and once the BBB is compromised and the selectivity has been removed, anything hits the brain. The oils are naturally attracted to the brain and how long they remain is still questionable. Also, people THINK that EO's are just a *fragnce type thing* when in fact it is a *chemical/drug8 as it does effect/elict a response aka relaxation as an example. Ther are enough safe products that promote the same thing...such as bach flowers rescue remedy if you want to deal with stress and relax. Works GREAT for those who are afraid of flying. Safe and more effective than valium/xanax. Guest guest
Hi Angel: >>I REFUSE to EVER recommend EO's for anyone hwo is chemically injured. It's a temproary fix that *IN MY OPINON* causes more trouble down the line.>> It's wonderful that we can lovingly disagree. A high quality, organic essential oil steam distilled, well diluted and chosen for a specific action can have healing action on the emotional and physical areas of a body if they person is tolerant of the essential oil. There are many scientific studies on medicinal aromatherapy with excellent results. I have over 100 essential oils, used them for many applications and have excellent results. One of my earliest books on the subject is written by Valnet, M.D. When working with someone with MCS I always ask first if they can tolerate the essential oils. Often they will say no because that is what they have heard but is not always the case with them in actual practice. Much depends upon their sensitivity and to state they case more trouble down the line would be and can be scientifically argued in my opinion. However, the oils must be high quality, steam and not hexane or other chemicals used to distill them and organic in some cases. Dilution rate is critical (less not more) and very few should be used internally unless directed by a professional. >>As you are aware the brain is lipophilic and once the BBB is compromised and the selectivity has been removed, anything hits the brain. The oils are naturally attracted to the brain and how long they remain is still questionable. Also, people THINK that EO's are just a *fragnce type thing* when in fact it is a *chemical/drug8 as it does effect/elict a response aka relaxation as an example.>> Correct, however in medicinal aromatherapy we do not consider pure essential oils " fragrance type thing " ; we consider them part of the healing protocol if used wisely with training. Too many are using incorrect EO's, improper dilution rates and misused in general. >>>Ther are enough safe products that promote the same thing...such as bach flowers rescue remedy if you want to deal with stress and relax. Works GREAT for those who are afraid of flying. Safe and more effective than valium/xanax.>>> Not everyone responds to Bach or similar flower remedies. I've heard unfortunately the Bach line was sold and the quality of the remedies has changed. Also some with severe MCS and the universal reactors cannot tolerate the 25-35% alcohol used in the remedies are preservatives. So again we have to use caution. Flower remedies can also cause a reaction in some that is not pleasant which is also well documented. We also have some wonderful medicinal herbs which can be used to reduce stress and anxiety both for animals and humans as well as homeopathic remedies. So many products on the market and since MSCers are unique in just as those with toxic mold illness we must be careful what we use. I try not to throw out the baby with the bathwater but prepare the bathwater that is suitable to the baby's needs. Rosie

If not it still ACTS like a drug as in order to create *relation* it must go thru the CNS...againn, the *brain* 03 is used for some medical procedures but it is not beneficial outside of the extreme alt med protocols. Same, IMO about EO's. > > When working with someone with MCS I always ask first if they can tolerate > the essential oils. I am *guessing* that you are from your references a aromatherapist wehich I feel and will stand very stanuch on this, something that is not applicable to those with chemical injury. I have had this aromatherpy being helpful with too many other practitioners and I understand what they think is beneficial, but I also know the physiology that it utilizes and I am not one to add any more chems albeit natural/synthetic to an already overtaxed system. Are there any studies that prove that the oils do not take up residence in the adipose that cushions/protects the internal organs of the body? In the studies are these independent or industry related? I would be curious to find out if there were any tests done on how long the oils actually take to be removed from the system. is there a documented half life to these? > >>>> Ther are enough safe products that promote the same thing...such as bach > flowers rescue remedy if you want to deal with stress and relax. Placement of 1-2 drops in a full glass of water, stir it up and then take 1-2 drops of it on the inner wrist and rub it in. They can also be placed in the belly button. Then again, those who have a semi background in homepthay can just do 1-2 more dilutions and it would work fine. those who use a homeopath who use an EAV machine can make up the remedy by imprinting it into a water based solution and that completely removes all traces of alcohol coming in contact with them. > We also have some wonderful medicinal herbs which can be used to reduce > stress and anxiety both for animals and humans as well as homeopathic > remedies. There are certain treatmeents/remedies that I willnot compromise and those associated with my foundation know better to even consider bringing them up for discussion. The 2 main ones are 03 and EO's. Even with my background in naturopathy and I know the claims of those who swear by them, I jsut know that they will not work and there is always a consequence to adding more stress to an overtaoxic system. AKA laten reactors. Angel > > Rosie > > > > > > > FAIR USE NOTICE: > > >

Guest guest
On Behalf Of Angel!! >>>>I have had this aromatherpy being helpful with too many other practitioners and I understand what they think is beneficial, but I also know the physiology that it utilizes and I am not one to add any more chems albeit natural/synthetic to an already overtaxed system.>>> Smiles and good morning Angel. It's a gorgeous day today, almost perfect. We are just going to lovingly disagree on the use and safety of essential oils. That's ok and I'll not discuss further with you after this post since we are in such disagreement and certainly don't need to go further. My only response to your statement above is that you are adding chemicals to the overtaxed systems since the products you are recommending contain many synthetic chemicals to which MCSers have reacted and would not use in my " circle " . Smiles, giggles and let's shake hands and stay friends. >>>>>Are there any studies that prove that the oils do not take up residence in the adipose that cushions/protects the internal organs of the body?>>> Smiles again...do have any double blind scientific studies conducted over decades to show that the synthetic chemicals in the products you sell and use are not harmful long term in the human body as some studies are showing? >>There is a very simple way for the universal reactors to use alcohol based homeopathics. Placement of 1-2 drops in a full glass of water, stir it up and then take 1-2 drops of it on the inner wrist and rub it in. They can also be placed in the belly button.>> Smiles again. Homeopathics are prescribed as you know not only by their name but also potency such as 6X, 30C, 200C and higher. When we dilute them such as you suggested we change their potency and their expected action in the body. Flower remedies are also high dilutions of the flowers. The original finished product is the stock and further dilutions is the remedy itself. So, we change the potency again with further dilutions. >>Then again, those who have a semi background in homepthay can just do 1-2 more dilutions and it would work fine.>>> Well, a qualified homeopath is usually very careful in selecting potency he/she prescribes and doing a 1-2 dilution is not like adding 1+1=2 in homeopathy so I don't usually recommend this to people. >>those who use a homeopath who use an EAV machine can make up the remedy by imprinting it into a water based solution and that completely removes all traces of alcohol coming in contact with them.>> That is true however not everyone has access to a homeopath (money) who has this EAV machine. For me it's easier ordering pellets from a homeopath company for those who cannot tolerate alcohol if they do not have access to a homeopath or cannot afford to see one. Course I only suggest low potency remedies which are over the counter for general acute things such as Apis for a bee sting, ledum for insect bite, arnica for bruises and so forth. The rest I'll leave to the experts. >>>There are certain treatmeents/remedies that I willnot compromise and those associated with my foundation know better to even consider bringing them up for discussion. The 2 main ones are 03 and EO's.>>> Thanks for sharing. It's ok, it's a beautiful world and there are so many protocols available to all of us that sometimes it can become overwhelming and I've found it's best to focus on several different protocols and learn as much about their use. Peace on this subject Angel. Rosie

Nope, this is the standard protocol from Board Certified homeopaths that I deal with inorder to get thier clients to take them. Again, EAV can imprint the remedy into a vial of water that would satisfy any potnetial for changing the potency. I have literaly over 200 homeopathic remedies both in pellets, tablets, water and alcohol base. I have not had anyone have a problem using them via the imprint system of their naturopath. > > Flower remedies are also high dilutions of the flowers. You are aware of the NEW system that they are using where you literally do not have to be in the practiioners office for a treatment/consult. There is a hand held device analogous to a computer moue tht is read and it can be done long distance. I was exposed to this at the annual naturopaths conference. It's a company out of Utah (I think). My personal homeopath is getting the system and I will b eusing it for both myself and her other clients in this area.
