Guest guest
Phyllis: Mind if I ask where you have been keeping your seeds? I keep mine in the freezer. I have NEVER had a problem. Melody > > I have a question... I have some sprout seeds of broccoli and alfalfa, that I bought in 2008 from nys. They have been great up untill the last couple weeks. I have sterilzed the Bioset sprouter, and washed with hot sudsy water, vinegar, and even disinfected with rubbing alcohol quickly, then good rinse. The seeds are suddenly not growing like they did. How can flourishing seeds, that were so abundantly sprouting suddenly start falling flat? I have newer seeds, but did not want to use them till these were used up. They were doing so well. I expected they would slowly not be so bountiful, but it is suddenly. I am not sure what to do. It has been better since I re-disinfected the trays etc, but they sprouts are sometimes " off " a little in the smell, or many do not sprout. Time to go to the newer sprout seeds, or shall I do something else? > > Thanks, Phyllis > >
