In studying for the BCIA exam, I ran across this site at " Neuroscience for

Kids. " It provides a great description of the neuron & neurotransmitters.

Same information that is in the book except simplified with lots of

great pictures. It's the best description of depolarization and action

potentials that I've found yet.

Just thought I'd share for anyone else out there studying for the exam. Be

sure to click on the " synapse " and " action potential " links in the first

paragraph to see the most relevant info.
