After remediation at home dish has Aspergillus, Cladosporium, Hyphae

(yuck) says means ACTIVE GROWTH. Where IS IT? Walls, floors, carpet

or WHAT? Says Aspergillus is commonly being implicated in pulmonary

disease in immunocompromised hosts. Can cause skin infections,

produce Mycotoxins which may be associated with disease in human and

animals. Toxic production is dependent on the species or strain

within a speciies and on the food source for the fungus. Some of

these toxins have been found to be carcinogenic in animal species.

Several toxins are considered potential human carcinogens. Has 3

colonies.

Cladosporium - Commonly found on dead plants, woody plants, food,

straw, soil, paint and textiles. Symptoms include edema and

bronchiospasms, chronic cases may develop pulmonary emphysema. Has 2

colonies in sample I sent.

Hyphae - On sporulating pieces of fungal organisms that cannot be

identified as to what genus they are from. They are indicative of

active growth in the sampling vicinity. Was put in middle of the

house so that is gross. Has 1 colony in sample I sent.

OK, Work has:

Botrytis 1 colony. It is parasitic on plants, vegetables and soft

fruits but may also be found in soil. No toxic or invasive diseases

have been documented to date.

Cladosporium - Commonly found on dead plants, woody plants, food,

straw, soil, paint and textiles. Common cause of extrinsic asthma

(immediate type hypersensitivity type 1). Acute symptoms include

edema and bronchiospasms, chronic cases may develop pulmonary

emphysema. 5 colonies

Curvularia- It may cause corneal infections, mycetoma and infections

in immune compromised hosts. 1 colony

Penecillium same as above. 6 colonies

Both say NO to elevated conditions. I don't believe that! and for me

anything is elevated.

Anyone have a good link to tell about molds and what they do to our

health esp. on the ones I have at home and work? I want to print

that and give with this to the boss. He wants to see it but this

plays it down too much. I had some and will go google search but do

post any you have so I can get the best info.

I bought me a NEW toilet cuz I think that black crap in my tanks is

MOLD and keeps growing in the bowl and got me a new one that the bowl

hold MORE water than teeny amount the one I have now does. Hmmm, how

do they get the water out of tank when they are taking old toilet

out? I have a call into a plumber but he hasn't called back yet to

answer that.
