Guest guest
A friend of mine when he was a kid used to stutter when responding to others. He solved the problem by taking a deep breath before answering questions. (Interestingly enough as an adult he now only sometimes stutters when drunk.) In any case I would assume SMR training at C4 to be good. Especially if the stuttering only appears in social contexts. Guest guest
My son developed an acute stutter overnight at the age of four. We tested him for 'heavy metal' poisoning and found very high levels of mercury. We cured him within ten weeks by chelating the mercury under medical supervision. Guest guest
: My experience with stuttering is that F7 needs to have more beta (activation) than F8. If you have a reversal you have the non-dominant speech center competing with the dominant side. I believe this contributes to stuttering. So I train F8 beta down and F7 Beta up. Hope that helps. Guest guest
The F7 and F8 suggestion noted previously is a good one. Stuttering also often seemed, in my experience, to go with incomplete dominance (client uses left hand for some things and right hand for others). Exercises like those recommended by Brain Gym can be helpful as well. Guest guest
I had a client stop stuttering after one session of C4 SMR enhancement. It was back in the good old days when we mostly did C3 beta or C4 SMR work. When I added in C3 beta training for half the session the stutter came back. I eventually did about 10 minutes C3 beta and 20 minutes of C4 SMR to help with mood and concentration, but keep the stutter away.
