Guest guest
Hello All, Have been reading this digest and don't know where I fit in but must be somewhere's. I have been told by my rheumatologist that I have Osteoarthrotis (degenerative arthritis). Also have heel spurs. Last week when I saw her she put me on RELAFEN 500mg once a day. I take it with food as if I don't it will upset my stomach. Each tablet contains nabumetone 500mg. I am still on Tyendol with Codine every four hours or as need. New medication is working as I am not in so much pain. I still am taking my depression medication Serzone 150mgs. twice a day. I also have asthma and allergies I am on six different medications for that. I am on blood pressure medication once a day. I take Prevacid for my stomach and baby asprin for my heart one a day. Have any of you ever taken RELAFEN? Last week I was also diagosed with Type 2 diabetes and am now on medication once a day for it. I am taking GLUCOPHAGE 500mgs with dinner. Has to be taken with food or will upset your tummy. I am tried all time and sleep alot. I am fighting to get my social security disability award as I can't work used to do alot of walking and standing when I did security work. I just feel very alone in this as I don't get any support from my husband who is also disabled but do to heart problems, diabetes, and arthritis problems. I was there for him all through his bad times and supported him, now I would like some support from him in return. Bill has friend, Mike, that he goes fishing with which is nice I don't have anyone. I certainly don't feel like going fishing used to like too! I am just depressed that I can't do anything I used to do and am tried all time. Does depression go along with having arthritis? Thank you all for listening. God Bless You All, Kay ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
Hello, I am a newcomer too. I wish some of you would share some of your symptoms with me about the " Leaky Gut " . At the present, things are pretty bad. In fact, I think I have it worst than anyone. I have had to stop my job because of this problem, odor. Please respond quicky. Sounds like you need a major, PERMANENT change in diet (lots of fresh, RAW, organically grown veggies - mainly the deep green leafy kind - and some fruits. It wouldn't hurt to start off with a series of colonics, say one every 3-4 days. -- Marcus

Guest guest
'Morning everyone from Rhonda in warm! PA! Finally spring has sprung, it's been almost 60F here. WOW! Feels good on my cold feet... I am just recuperating from knee surgery last Friday. My knee pops out often, and when it got to the point where it didn't hurt anymore when it dislocated, I knew i had a problem! I had this surgery back in '85, (it's a temporary fix) and it seems to hurt much more this time than the last. I guess I'm not a teen anymore! Does anyone else have knees that dislocate? Thanks!!! Guest guest
Hi Rhonda and everybody, I hope that you will have a good convalescence and a good recovery. I had 2 surgery for each knee in the last 6 years ( 2 in 1996 and 2 in 1998) for realigned and stabilized my patella. Now i don't have any trouble with dislocation just with cartilage. Changes in the strength of my quadricep modify the alignment. Than, the orthopedist surgeon suggest rest for 4 to 6 month with swimming 2 times/week. After two months, the pain was less present. This period of rest correspond fortunately with a period of work at home ( writing for article and thesis, i'm a master student in biophysic). It's good to read you every day Have a good day Annie ( Québec, Canada) ----- Original Message ----- From: Rhonda onelist Sent: vendredi 25 février 2000 08:03 Subject: Re: [] Digest Number 171 From: Rhonda <yeahbaby@...> 'Morning everyone from Rhonda in warm! Guest guest
Hi Rhonda: I had knees that dislocated all the time when I was a kid. I would just be playing and bam, I was on the ground and it hurt like the devil when it happened then would quickly pass. It always popped back in by itself except one time when I had to go to the hospital and they had to pop it back in. I finally had knee surgery to correct the problem back 24 years ago when I was about 22. I really don't know what all they did but it did the trick because it does not do it anymore. Hope all goes well for you. Betty

I would think twice about using any cold pressed citrus oil as a toner.... it's one thing to use them in soap, which is going to be washed off, but a toner is left on the skin...and the citrus oils are photosensitizers. There are other, gentler oils, that are effective for oily skin.... in my opinion, of course. Your source for superb Essential Oils, Aromatherapy Accessories, Information, Books and more! Guest guest
I had heaps of fatigue , but I always figured it was because my symptoms were out of control. I controlled them with drugs and managed fatigue in a number of ways, including not going out, more rest, no late nights, no long hours of tv at night. I don't think I managed life well at all! I haven't noticed much of a change after desens, cos I'm still taking a barrage of drugs. Prednisolone makes one heck of a difference - I actually feel energetic and able todo what I want to do, but I'm not sure that's reasonable for an unfit person with a penchant for sugar... > 6. To regain the sense of smell. > This is ultimate objective, and the least successful, so far. I've just about given up on this one. I just don't want more ops. I reckon I do feel better for taking aspirin. Only thing is - it won't work for headaches! And I feel better for living close to the ocean, and on a hill. Anyone upped their aspirin and had a reaction? I increased to three tabs twice daily and sinuses flared up - blocked eustachian tube, loud tinnitus, chest tight and wheezing. Now I'm on pred again, at least I can smell. :-) all the best, Beverley Author of " The Chimaera Conspiracy " , new Australian YA action-packed sci-fi mystery novel. http://chimaera.topcities.com available from http://greaterglider.com and " Getting Started with Homeschooling " and " Learning in the Absence of Education " available from http://members.ozemail.com.au/~beverleypaine/homeschool
