In the fall of 1994 I developed a flu-like illness with body aches, then strange neurological symtptoms. I saw a nuerologist who thought I had MS from testing he did in the office, but testing further for it was normal. I did have an area of enhanced signal in a part of my brain on MRI that I only found out about when obtaining medical records. The report said that further followup should be done, but it never was. A few years later I had another MRI that showed that I had had a small stroke in that area. Nobody seemed very concerned about it, but me.
