Guest guest
LOL, Geez, I finally just found the DGL. (had no clue what that was) Now, kefir. (not a clue on that either) LOL Sounds like fun stuff, I'm on that one next. I agree with you, not add the sauerkraut. I just found it very interesting, and was just interested in it. I don't think I would add that to her diet, until she is married and out of my house. LOL But, some of this other stuff is VERY interesting to me. As I hope others too. I enjoy the information, and trying to find it, and learning what it all is. Again, if we didn't have this group, and some of the smart people we have here-we wouldn't know about alot of this stuff. Also, she loves Oats. I purchased raw, organic. I let her have them last week one day. But, didn't soak them. I am going in right now and soak them for tomorrow, then I will research why I need to soak them. hehehehe Or, someone will e-mail me back and tell me I can't soak raw ones. LOL Well atleast I'll have all the bases covered. Thanx,
Guest guest
there are some really good basic cookbooks. Westin-Price Foundation Sally Fallon has written a wonderful cookbook; describes why you need to soak your grains and nuts (for digestion). See http://www.westonaprice.org/index.html Lol cooking steel cut oatmeal takes a long time in the morning; overnight soaking reduces cooking time; makes them creamy and delicious. Add a little pure stevia, some frozen blueberries -yum! Have fun! Rosie Re: [] Re: Rosie Good info. again/Sauerkraut LOL, Geez, I finally just found the DGL. (had no clue what that was) Now, kefir.
