where to plug in electrodes for 1c linked montage

Dear Colleagues--

I am wanting to do a 1c linked montage with a client today (fz/a1/a2

(l)). I'm using a pendant, and I am confused about where to plug the

electrodes.

I know that the active electrode (fz) will be plugged into the far left

red plug(holding the pendant with the light facing away from me).

Should the ear clips for a1 & a2 be plugged in as reference and ground?

I'd appreciate your advisement. Thanks!
