Guest guest Posted July 3, 2010 Report Share Posted July 3, 2010 My favorite one day old sprouts to throw in the blender with water are oat, almond, walnut, pecan, wheat, buckwheat, sweet rice, hemp, cashew, etc... in varying combinations. Buckwheat and oat make a smooth drink. I like to blend 1/3 c. hemp seed, 1 c. water, 1 tsp. raw honey and 1/2 vanilla bean. Blend very well; do not strain. Pour into a bowl and stir in 3 T. chia seeds, stir every few minutes to prevent clumping. This makes a high protein, high omega " pudding " to which we add fresh fruit - lately mango and banana - for a great breakfast treat or even dessert.
