I always wondered how to tell if charcoal needs to be changed, as you can't tell when it is 'dirty' as you can with white particle filters. --- In , " Carl E. I think many use the masks thinking they are protected - as in absolutely - for as long as they intend. A few hours is about their limit because there is very little charcoal in them. 6 months for the filters is about right, especially for someone as sensitive as you are.
