Guest guest Posted March 10, 2010 Report Share Posted March 10, 2010 well, I got the seeds and sprouted them for about 10 days...mixed garlic and onion together....I just chewed on a handful and what a flavor burst....my head is spinning here...my only question is that -unlike other seeds- these haven't lost their black hull... the shoots are about an inch long and greening up... does anyone know if they will lose their hull if I sprout them longer?... the hulls are barely noticable when you chew on them, and I prefer a younger sprout to eat....just wondering if anyone else has had experience w/ the onion or garlic sprouts-and if so, when are they done?...I made some black bean soup and am going to throw in a handful...hulls and all!....thanks..., Brooklyn, NY Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
