Guest guest
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has any info on a link between Kombucha and panic attacks? I have anxiety disorder and LOVE drinking Kombucha... Unfortunately, it's like playing Russian Roulette-- sometimes, after a small amount, I feel relaxed, then energized and really, really good.... Other times, within a minute or two of drinking KT, I get hit with a really bad panic attack. I have found one article online suggesting that the lactic acid in KT can cause panic attacks in those who are prone to them already. I can only find one mention of it, however... *Sigh!* And I've also found lots of articles mentioning that higher lactic acid levels in the blood can cause panic attacks. It just doesn't seem that, a minute or so after drinking KT, anything would have had time to hit my bloodstream. I'm hesitant to give up my KT because I wonder if I'm psyching myself out... Plus, if I have no initial bad reaction to it, KT is literally like positive energy in a bottle! Has anyone else experienced or heard of this?
