My daughter is she was 3 on July,5,2004 I found out that she had an S shape curve when she was 6 months old at that time she was at a 20 and 27 curve by April she went up to a 30 and 37 degree curve 2 weeks before her first B-day she got her first Brace then by Oct she had went up to a 55 and a 47 degree curve and a RVAD of 41 Thats when I found our wounderful Angel Hyatt who had told me about plaster casting and then she sent me the video on miss Metha treatments. I watched the video and then when we went back for s next apt. I gave the video to Dr. After he had viewed the video he called me and said that he was would like to try it on Nov.2003 He put s First cast on her with that first cast he was able to get her to a 17 deegree and a 5 degree at a layind down x-ray after the cast had settled a month later he did a staaanding x-ray and she was at 25 degrrees then her next cast he got her to a 12 degree and by the 3rd cast she was at a 10 degree She is now at an 8 degree and a RVAD at 4 We go back on Oct 5 to have her casted removed and on the 6th she will have her new one on and I will be sure to let you all know on what her results are on that cast since she has been casted she has grown 5 inches If anyone would like to see her and her x-rays they are on the photos on the group and you can see some before and after pictures of her and if you would like to read her storie its at the bottom of the home page with some of the other stories If I can be of any help to anyone just let me know and good luck to all of you.
