Guest guest
Hi all. I had to chuckle at the topic of this discussion. I ALWAYS check out other people's carts because what else is there to do while you are waiting in line. Sometimes I have noticed a great sale item, and I might say " oh, where did you get that? " and the person would say " In aisle 3 " , and I would burst out with " oh, watch my cart please " , I'd jump off the line and grab whatever special they are having. Once there was tuna on sale 5 cans for $3.00. Now that's a special. But the funniest time was when I'm on line and and I happen to glance at the person on line in front of me and I could not believe what she had in her cart. I had to actually count the amount of beef. She had 15 steads, a thousand pounds of chopped meat (I'm kidding but believe me it was quite a bit), all kinds of mac and cheese boxes, ALL KINDS OF PACKAGED COOKIES, etc. etc. Not one fresh item, not one GREEN item WHATSOEVER. I think I remarked " Wow, you must have a big family?? " and she said " you have no idea " . Indeed!!!! lol Melody > > > > Lorri and all, > > > > When I go shopping I like to look in people's carts and see what kind > > of food they eat.
