When beginning a training session in BE, the green "Capture" button is pressed, at which point a "Record Session" window opens. The file name is entered and saved, at which point a "Session Info" window opens, with a spaces for "Subject Name", "Date" and "Notes". The recording begins when "OK" button is pressed. 1. Where is this "Session Info" page saved? 2. How can it be retrieved? 3. Can it also be used as a site to make comments or observations AFTER a session is completed? nick mammano

Hi Nick, (Happy New Year!!!) The session info will be available when you process that data in BioRevew, it will show the name, date and observations of that particular session. I prefer to use the "Notes" field under Window Menu because is more related to this kind of use than the observations in Record session. Also remind that this Notes that I'm talking about will be available in that design where you created it. I always create a folder for each person, where I save the respective designs for that person, so each person has it own designs, values, notes, etc. Hope this respond to your questions. Feliz Ano Nuevo : I'm not sure what you mean. What I would like to do is to write down my observations of a session AFTER the data is recorded-- stuff like "the client sneezed at 3min 45 sec into the session" (to explain a possible artifact) or "the client was attentive (or inattentive)" or "there was an intermittent problem with the electrode at C4" -- and have these comments be an integral textual file for a particular session. Notes and observations BEFORE the session are not nearly as helpful. Are you saying that these post-recording notes can be done with Bio Review? If so how? And what do you mean by the "Notes field under the Windows Menu" Right now I make handwritten comments on a session in a separate notebook. It would make much more sense to

be able to write these notes in BE or BR and save them as a text file attached to the recorded session. nick mammano Hi Nick, (Happy New Year!!!) Nick,

As a workaround you might consider opening a word processor in a slice of your desktop. The files sorted by time would be next to each other. You might do a quick open>drag & drop>next... at the end of the day, weekly, whenever, to get the notes in the same file.

If so how?

Right now I make handwritten comments on a session in a separate notebook. It would make much more sense to be able to write these notes in BE or BR and save them as a text file attached to the recorded session.

Nick, If you go to Design Menu and look for Notes command you will create a Note on that particular design that you're working with, after that, you are able to see it in every moment of the training. If you click on Windows menu and look for the Notes command, which probably is going to appear as the 3rd window opened. You can go to Insrument 1, Instrument 2, the design or Notes using that pull up menu calls Window, the last one on the top right of the Bioexplorer. I normally use that way, but still using the writing notes in each client's chart to leave a hard copy of each session, because we all know about computers, somedays work, next day, crashed...
