I was feeling adventerous today so I thought I would get my car washed - bad idea.>> It's sad. I'm limited also and specifically avoid know toxic mold places. I'm an herbalist and organic gardener and would like to become active in our local non-profit group called Urban Harvest to learn more about organic growing and networking with others. However their office is located in a very old high school building with is too toxic for me. The first and only time I visited I was hit by the mold as soon as I opened the front doors of the school building. I took a chance---bad mistake--to find the Urban Harvest group's office and soon realized I couldn't stay in there any longer. Yes we are restricted and have to protect ourselves unfortunately by avoiding as much as possible. My favorite wholesale organic herb nursery has an old building that is full of " green stuff growing on the walls " . However I don't react to that at all. So not all mold is dangerous to my health. But I make it a habit to test any area I intend to park my automobile. So I got out - " Perceptified " the situation as I always do, and evacuated before the damage was done. Learned to do this pre-emptive check from experience. Dr D and I were on a trip, stopped in front of a kayak shop we intended to enter, walked toward it, and simultaneously looked at each other in shock at the " badness " of the area. As we ran for the truck, she yelled at me to hurry - as if I wasn't moving as fast as I could! We could feel the lingering effects on the vehicle for two days from just a minute in that zone. This is one heck of a way to live! -
