Guest guest
Dear Listmates, As some of you know, and I began looking to buy a home near her family in the south of Brazil a couple years ago. In April, we found a gorgeous place on the ocean. Our plans are not finalized yet, but we definitely plan to relocate sometime in the second half of this year. I've been doing small-group hands-on workshops pretty much non-stop since 2001, on the road 150-180 days a year for the past couple years, and it's been a great gig. I've met and worked with hundreds of wonderful people who continue to train brains and teach me from their experience, and I've sampled the hospitality of dozens of you. However, after five years, it's getting harder to keep the energy level up for the workshops, and I won't do it just " going through the motions " . I wanted to let you all know that this year is likely to be the last one I spend, as Al described it, " touring like a rock star " . Anyone interested in taking a workshop with me should bear that in mind as you take a look at the upcoming schedule. I expect I'll travel a few weeks each quarter after I move, probably focusing on workshops like the Trainer's Practicum, which are completely different each time we do them, or developing projects with agencies or organizations. But I'm looking forward to sitting back down in the trainer's chair again, trying to hook up with some dolphins in my kayak and taking a shot or two at the great American novel I've intended to write since my 20's. I've loved every one of my various careers, but this work is the most rewarding and most fun of anything I've ever done. I look forward to continuing to work with you through Braintrainer and whatever other options we develop, but if you take a look at the attached picture of the view from our patio, you'll have some idea why I think my " next " career might be even better...
