Hi -

Lily's ribs aren't fused, and yeah - the coordinator at Boston

Childrens was mentioning about the stiff rib problem with the rib.

He also said that Dr. Emans doesn't believe in bracing after a growth

rod (at least not after a certain period of time, etc) - which made

me feel better about whichever decision we make. The rib, right now,

sounds like a very major operation as opposed to the growth rod and

the coordinator said Dr. Emans always tries to go for the smallest

proceedure possible . . .me too <G>

I agree that the decision process is agonizing - I'd really like Dr.

Emans to feel strongly one way or the other.
